Don’t miss your opportunity to be apart of the 2nd annual Newport WineFest. New England’s Largest Outdoor Wine & Food Festival!

 

Volunteer in fun and exciting departments such as front gate, catering booths, hospitality, VIP, site operations, and much, much more.... Your involvement is vital to the Festival’s success.

 

Come share in the experience and appreciation of good wine and food – it will be time and energy well spent!

 

 

Newport WineFest Volunteer Requirements:

- Each Volunteer must complete all hours of shift assigned (typically 5 hours in length). This is the minimum requirement - volunteers may work more.

-Applications are used in scheduling and assigning departments.  Please be sure to select the correct information and availability.

-Volunteers agree to be on time to all assigned shifts and complete the responsibilities of each shift in a satisfactory manner.

-Remember to cancel shifts 48 hours in advance (if absolutely necessary).

-If at anytime you are unclear about something, please ask a staff member.
-Please remember to be friendly and professional at all time! Also, HAVE FUN! (You are the face of the festival.)

Information about your assignments will be given at an orientation prior to the event.
We appreciate your interest in volunteering at the Newport WineFest. All volunteers will receive:

          -One (1) complimentary Grand Tasting ticket (date TBD by Newport WineFest)

          -$10 worth of food tokens

          -Newport WineFest Staff T-Shirt

Also, the Newport WineFest will be providing a shuttle service to and from the event for all volunteers. You may park your car at the Middletown High School and the shuttle service will run from high school (located at 130 Valley Road in Middletown, RI) to the Newport Yachting Center as well as providing rides back.
